Drawing on her background as a female painter from a post-Soviet country, Michaela Šindlerová incorporates Slavic mythological elements to explore her own role within larger cultural narratives. A Czech-born abstract artist, she examines how contemporary stories intersect with historical myths to shape cultural memory, probing the forces that structure human experience—fate, nationality, and gender.
